In Great Britain wills might have to be changed given the forthcoming modifications to inheritance tax. According to Internationalmoneymarketing.co.uk, many established tax planning techniques are redundant. The rules are complex but the changes kick in with estates of over £300,000 and more so when the figure reaches over and above £600,000.
The effective doubling of the inheritance tax threshold was announced in the recent pre-Buget report by British chancellor Alistair Darling. Internationalmarketing.co.uk concludes "The key, as always, is to seek professional advice to ensure that the appropriate solution is found.
Writing a will is necessary, since there is the requirement to avoid being
intestate. For instance, in Aberdeen there are firms such as Legal Services Scotland and Willpeople.

You need a will!! You don't want an HMRC grab.
Everybody needs a will!! My brother made one!! My son has to look after his tortoises, if he pops off. You don't want the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC)
getting hold of the money. If you live in Aberdeen (Scotland) and surrounding areas you could use Will People.
I have never been to Aberdeen nor Glasgow for that matter. However, I have been to Edinburgh, Perth and Inverness and I was impressed by those Scottish cities. In particular, Edinburgh is amazing especially with the castle on the volcanic rock.
The national museum also has some brilliant paintings. We had pizza in Inverness and I was impressed with the lay-out of the town, especially with the river. It was also a brilliant summer's day, which is quite a rarity as well. In Perth, we had a nice meal and the waitress was from Spain. We asked her if she understood the locals and she said yes.

Writing a will is a useful tool in inheritance tax.
In England and Wales, writing a will is a useful tool when avoiding or reducing
inheritance tax. In Doncaster, there is the firm Liberty Wills, which offers
its services throughout Yorkshire. Liberty
has over 30 years of experience.

Willwriters forever in the United Kingdom!!
But how long has the United Kingdom got? The Scottish Nationalists (SNP) are going
for independence and Alex Salmond is a pretty cool customer. I am always
impressed when he is on television usually giving the Bimbo journos from the BBC
a pretty rough ride.
However, willwriters or will writers are a growing area of the financial
services sector, especially in England and Wales. You can use a directory
such as www.searchwill.co.uk This hosts major players such as the Willwriting Company, which is www.willwriting.co.uk.
I suppose these are plugs but it is no fun for the heirs of someone,
who died intestate (without a will) and trying to sort out the affairs
with the HMRC definitely
wanting their money. The full title for the HMRC is Her Majesty's Revenue
and Customs and it is quite efficient at getting money from your estate when deceased!!
